It is normal that wounds will appear worse in the beginning of a treatment and bad odours will be lifted,  due to necrotic tissue disintegration.
Excessive exudate will escape the wound.
At skin level stage it is advisable to treat the wound with DonorAid only,  to prevent over-granulation,  or perform a skin graft.
After debridement granulation,  tissue will fill the wound up to skin level.
