PRODUCT CLASIFICATION:
Chemspunge® Wound Dressings is a non stick hydrophilic dressing.
Sterilized by Gamma Irradiation.

COMPOSITION:
Silica Gel
PVD Salt

MODE OF ACTION:
Chemspunge® Wound Dressings is designed to lift oedema and excess fluids away from the wound, which promotes blood circulation to the wound exudates.
Chemspunge® Wound Dressings adsorbs fluids through osmotic pressure and retains them irreversibly.
After every dressing change, odours are lifted and bacteria multiplication minimizes.
Chemspunge® Wound Dressings does not deposit anything into a wound.

INDICATIONS:
Chemspunge® Wound Dressings are indicated for use on full-thickness wounds, superficial wounds, pressure sores, poison fang bites, diabetic wounds, surgical wounds to lift oedema, leper wounds, malignant melanoma and burns of any degree.

CONTRAINDICTIONS:
Chemspunge® Wound Dressings might cause over granulation when treating children and animals.

PRECAUTIONS:
Consult a healthcare professional or a physician.

APPLICATION:
For external use only.
Do not clean, bath or scrub any wound or burn
Remove Chemspunge® Wound Dressings from package material and position it over the affected area, with the Telfa flo perforated film side to the wound and secure.
Dressing changes are needed when saturated.

SIDE EFFECTS:
No side effects reported.
A pain sensation during treatment in some cases indicates that inflammative exudates is escaping and might burn the surrounding wound areas.
Small blisters might form until the debridement stage is completed.
Treat the surrounding wound area with SteriWorld® Antiseptic Spray.
 
TOXICITY:
Tested non toxic with regard to cytotoxicity.

STORAGE:
Normal dry and clean conditions.
Do not store on concrete floors to prevent crystallization of formula.

Chemspunge® Wound Dressings ist ein nicht klebender Wundverband mit hydrophylischen Eigenschaften welches überschüssiges Exsudat aufsaugt.
Sterilisiert durch Gamma Bestrahlung.

ART DER FUNKTION:
Chemspunge® Wound Dressings hilft Oedeme und überschüssige Flüssigkeiten von der Wunde aufzusaugen, zu vermindern und somit die Blutzirkulation zum Exsudat zu fördern.
Chemspunge® Wound Dressings absorbiert Flüssigkeiten durch Osmotischen Druck.
Durch wechseln des Wundverbandes werden Gerüche und das Vermehren von Bakterien minimiert.
Chemspunge® Wound Dressings deponiert nichts in die Wunde.

INDIKATION:
Chemspunge® Wound Dressings eignen sich für oberflächliche Wunden, tiefe Wunden, Brandwunden, Druckwunden, Giftbisse, Wunden bei Diabetikern, Wunden bei Leprapatienten, Melanomen und Brandwunden jeglicher Art.

GEGENANZEIGEN
Chemspunge® Wound Dressings kann bei Kindern und Tieren einen zu schnellen Zellenwachstum verursachen.

VORSICHTSMASSNAHMEN: Chemspunge® Wound Dressings sollte nur nach Rücksprache mit einem Arzt oder einer anderen medizinischen Fachkraft angewendet werden.

GEBRAUCHSANWEISUNG:
Nur für externe Anwendung.
Die Wunde oder Brandwunde nicht säubern oder baden.
Chemspunge® Wound Dressings aus der Packung nehmen und mit der perforierten Filmseite auf die Wunde legen und bandagieren.
Wundverband wechseln wenn vollgesaugt.

NEBENEFFEKTE:
In vereinzelten Fällen mögliche Schmerzempfindung durch austretenes Exsudat von der Wunde welches nebenliegendes Gewebe irritiert.

GIFTIGKEIT:
Nicht toxisch m.B.a. Cytotoxizität.

AUFBEWAHRUNG:
Normale trockene und saubere Umgebung.
Nicht auf Zementböden lagern da Produkt kristallisieren kann.
